Nearly 20 Major Updates and Enhancements went live with the MarketPowerPRO system in the last few weeks. We’re incredibly proud of the changes, and we know how many of you have been anxiously waiting for this Features Update.

Below are the “major” announced updates (new features and benefits as well as enhanced features and benefits) in your MarketPowerPRO MLM Software over the past several months.  We would like to thank you, our clients, along with your distributors and customers from which many of the enhancement and improvement ideas originated.  MarketPowerPRO, being a “central source code software system” has, benefits as all of the following updates and enhancements have been rolled out to our central source clients.  If you are on separate source code and would like to discuss any of the upgrades below, please contact your account executive.

Enhancement Newsletters by Country, State / Province

Administrators can now send newsletters to distributors and customers in specific countries and states/provinces.  This is a significant “marketing department” enhancement to the MarketPowerPRO; imagine you are having a distributor meeting in Dallas, Texas or Narita, Japan or Sao Paulo, Brazil on a specific date and time – you can now invite customers and distributors that live within that country and state/province to attend instead of spamming your entire organization.  Make certain to let your marketing department know about this enhancement.  You will find this modification in the Newsletter Management system under the “Company” menu.  For any training assistance, please contact your MultiSoft account executive or our customer support department.

Enhancement Search Orders by Country and Region

Administrators can now filter and located orders by specific countries and states/regions.  For example, if you want to search for all orders within California, USA or Hong Kong, you can now do so.  You will find this enhancement in the orders/search orders module of your MarketPowerPRO software by clicking on Advanced Search.  For any training assistance, please contact your MultiSoft account executive or our customer support department.

Enhancement Search Orders by Last four digits of the Credit Card Used

Anytime changes are made to how credit card data is secured and encrypted we make certain it meets or exceeds our PCI (Payment Card Industry) compliance such as this new enhancement does.  Administrators can now filter and located orders by the last four digits used on a credit card purchase.  This is a subtle enhancement for your customer support department when an order is called into question, and the user does not want to reveal their entire credit card details for security purposes or an administrator needs to see what orders were charged to a specific credit card.  You will find this enhancement in the orders/search orders module of your MarketPowerPRO software by clicking on Advanced Search.  For any training assistance, please contact your MultiSoft account executive or our customer support department.

Enhancement Filter Users By Rank

Administrators can now filter and locate distributors by specific ranks.  You will find this enhancement in the users/user management module of your MarketPowerPRO software by clicking on Advanced Search.  For any training assistance, please contact your MultiSoft account executive or our customer support department.

Enhancement Block Administrators from Logging in as other Administrators

You now can block other administrators from logging into your account, including your top administrator account, and making edits and updates without proper tracking.  You will find this enhancement in the users/user management module of your MarketPowerPRO software by clicking on Roles after clicking to edit any user.  For any training assistance, please contact your MultiSoft account executive or our customer support department.

Enhancement Block Administrators from Managing Roles of other Administrators

Now you can block other administrators from changing or editing the roles of other administrators, including their own, and only grant specific administrators the ability to edit roles.  This provides a higher level of role management and accountability in your software.  You will find this enhancement in the users/user management module of your MarketPowerPRO software by clicking on Roles after clicking to edit any user.  For any training assistance, please contact your MultiSoft account executive or our customer support department.

Enhancement Set “Optional” Enrollment Options as “Pre-Checked”

Ok, so this is “Marketing 101” by requiring your enrolling distributors to “un-check” a feature you want them to purchase, perhaps back office fees or a lead management system or a specific monthly AutoShip.  When setting up Enrollment Options under “Plans,” now you have the ability to force an “optional” enrollment option to be pre-checked.  For any training assistance, please contact your MultiSoft account executive or our customer support department.

Enhancement Order History Now Shows the Name of Admin, CSR, etc. that Made Changes to the order 

A payment change or shipping change is made to order, and you need to know who made the change and why as well as access that administrators phone number and email to contact them.

Look no further than the editing history of the order, all of the details are now being shown as well as the name of the administrator who made the change is now hyperlinked directly to their account provide so you can contact them or put a note in their e-file or send them an email via the communications system in the user management console.  For any training assistance, please contact your MultiSoft account executive or our customer support department.

Enhancement Shopping Cart Settings Module

We have extended the shopping cart settings modules many times, thanks to our client’s suggestions; we’ve lost track.

Here are a few more settings to give you more control over your shopping cart system that you can enable or disable or sort in different directions.

Price Method to Display for SKU’s at “Product” Level View, Product Sort Order, Display Share with Friend, Display Print Catalog, Display Back to Catalog, Display Add to Cart and Details “Before” description, Display Add to Cart and Details “After” description, Display Add to Cart and Details “Before And After” description  You will find the shopping cart settings module by navigating to the Company, Modules, Shopping Cart Settings For any training assistance, please contact your MultiSoft account executive or our customer support department.

New Kit Settings / Kit Builder

Thanks to Avalara and pushing the envelope for AvaTax integration, including a Product Return Module to re-claim sales tax.  With the AvaTax requirements was the requirement to manage “Kit’s” of products, which means you can now build a Kit named “Product D” and Product D contains 3 of Product A, 2 of Product B and 4 of Product C.  This means you can now set up a product “As a Kit” or set a product as “Available for a Kit”.  Additionally, you can set whether the inventory system deducts 3 of Product A, 2 of Product B and 4 or Product C or only X quantify of Product D when the kit is sold.

Creating a Kit allows different products within the Kit to be taxed at different rates via the Avalara AvaTax system or the manual MarketPowerPRO tax system.  Important, Kits can also be set up as AutoShip products further extending the usefulness of creating Kits within your MarketPowerPRO system.  You will find this new Kit Settings module in the Products, Product Management at the bottom of the page under the title “Kit Settings” and in the Product / SKU settings for “Included SKU’s.”  For any training assistance, please contact your MultiSoft account executive or our customer support department.

New Binary Holding Volume Adjustment Console

For our binary clients, you now have the ability to edit the holding volumes of a given distributor without affecting the upline volume(s) for the current open commission period.  You may use this console to modify the Left and Right holding volume (volume carried over from the last closed period) for a Distributor. In addition to being able to modify the volume, you may also view past changes to the Distributor’s record.  Note you must save any modifications entered before they are committed to the system as well as enter a reason for the adjustment.  The history module will store who made the change, when and why along with the previous volumes in case further edits are required.  You will find this new module in the User / User Management module by mousing over the distributors name and clicking edit volume.  For any training assistance, please contact your MultiSoft account executive or our customer support department.

New Stair-Step Weak Side Binary Commission System

Although the weak-side binary has been very popular for some years, the “stair-step” weak-side binary has been gaining substantial momentum the last couple of years.  As such, MarketPowerPRO has a new Stair-Step Weak-Side Binary Commission Calculation System.  This allows distributors to join at one rank or enrollment option or product purchase and earn a given weak-side binary and by promoting through the established ranks earn a greater weak-side binary commission.  If you would like to move your standard weak-side binary into a stair-step weak-side binary system, please contact your MultiSoft account executive or our customer support department.

New Integration with Zendesk.com Help Desk System

As you know, we can support you and your company and staff better and manage your expectations through this Help Desk system.  Your MarketPowerPRO was deployed with what we term a light-weight helpdesk system as our focus has primarily been on commission systems and ease of use systems for you to manage your network marketing company.  Over the past several years many “Software as a Service” help desk systems have emerged into the marketplace.  Instead of trying to keep up with the help desk systems on the market we decided it was best to integrate with the best we could find and we selected Zendesk.com as our go-to-company for help desk systems.  For more information go to http://www.zendesk.com for more information on the ZenDesk helpdesk system or contact your MultiSoft account executive or our customer support department.

New Integration with myBuilder from Sound Concepts

Your distributors need leads but then what do they do to manage them once they have them.  MultiSoft and MarketPowerPRO are pleased to announce a seamless integration with myBuilder from Sound Concepts.  myBuilder is a lead capture, lead management, social media integrated platform that offers distributors multiple URLs with specific focuses so that they can customize the presentation to their prospect. For example, your distributors may have one URL that focuses on your product and a second URL that focuses on the opportunity your company provides.   For more information about myBuilder, please contact your MultiSoft account executive.

New Integration with Avalara AvaTax Sales Calculations

Avalara AvaTax calculates sales tax based on concise, geospatial mapping—accurate down to the rooftop level. It works with an extension that plugs into MarketPowerPro, so your buyers get a precise calculation automatically on every shopping cart checkout.  Avalara to bring sales tax solutions to a complicated industry which has distributors in every state of the USA and worldwide selling a range of products and services that at any time can have a multitude of varying tax calculations on a single order. The MarketPowerPRO shopping cart, kit building, and refund systems were overhauled entirely to take advantage of the robustness of the Avalara tax solutions.  For more information about Avalara AvaTax, please contact your MultiSoft account executive.

New Login and Logout Page Settings Based Upon Users

More “Marketing 101” – when your customers, distributors, administrators, etc. log into your website or log out of your website you can now direct them to the exact page you want them to visit.  When your distributor’s login to your website you might want to redirect them to a page that talks about your upcoming launch event in Chicago or Hong Kong.  Or, let’s say for example a customer logs out of the website, you can automatically direct them to a page that discusses the features and benefits of becoming a distributor and buying at wholesale.  Or, when your administrators log out, you can automatically direct them to a page that reminds them about the corporate meetings this coming month or the new product specials that are being rolled out or how to upsell a customer or how to “smile” when they talk to customers and distributors.  For any training assistance, please contact your MultiSoft account executive or our customer support department.

New View Distributors Commission History In User Management

Until just recently if you wanted to view a distributors commission earnings/history you either had to go to Plans, Calculate Commissions or “Login as User” to view their commissions.  Those days are over as administrators can now visit the users/user management module, search for a given distributor, click on that distributor’s name and click the Commission tab.  You can now view by compensation plan type (binary, matrix or uni-level) and view every commission period and break down of earnings by plan type and bonus type for a given commission period.  For any training assistance, please contact your MultiSoft account executive or our customer support department.

New Enrollment Change Date History

More times than not our CSR’s are asked to change an enrollment date for a distributor, usually, because there sponsor submitted their application after a commission period and they missed their qualifications or because the administrator entered a wrong date.  As such you, our client, often had to wait a day for the database field(s) to be updated and the change logged in our files for your history and our records.  The days of waiting for a MultiSoft representative to change an enrollment date are over.  Your administrators can now go to the users/user management module, look for a given distributor, click on that distributor or click edit in the pop-up, go to the bottom of the following page and update the new enrollment date and the reason for the change.  Note, this will log exactly who made the enrollment date change, when they made it, why they made it and what it was before they made it.  For any training assistance, please contact your MultiSoft account executive or our customer support department.

New Taxable Percentage Rate at the Product SKU Pricing Level

This feature may or may not be beneficial to all of our clients, primarily due to the new integration with Avalara AvaTax, however, if you have ever wanted or needed to tax a percentage of a product instead of the entire product you can now do so.  Let’s say you have a product that sells for $60 and you want to tax it at 7%.
